Everybody would probably be relieved if he ate her. The black wolf sniffed the earth once more, making a mental note of the direction his sister had travelled. He would hunt down the members of his ex-mate's family as she requested...but should his path take him anywhere near his sibling...well, he wasn't above making a slight detour. Without another glance to the bird, he turned and padded slowly off, heading out of the packlands, and disappearing into shadows once he reached the bordering forests.
