She had given him Youkou's location without even forcing him to live up to his part of the bargain...casually offering up the very information he had agreed to trade an encounter with Ravenshadow for while he skulked in the shadows, while simutaneously incriminating ShadowGaze in the matter. As the turkey was also the one who had told him where to find his former mate, surely she had known of his presence nearby when speaking to Lowechin. Now she was implying that she could provide his sister's location...because despite her mention of raising the alarm, FrozenSoul imagined she would have already done so had that been the bird's intention. How would any of this benefit the birdbrain? What game, exactly, was she playing? Of course, not knowing the bird's goals did not mean that FrozenSoul had nothing to gain from the bird's plots. It was always easier to be handed information on a silver platter than to track it down yourself. Perhaps it might be of benefit to him to follow the bird's rules...until such a time that he judged it was time to start cheating. He would not be a pawn in the flying turkey's game...but that didn't mean he couldn't play. The black wolf's cold eyes followed the soaring bird closely, his voice icy when he finally chose to reply, throwing the hawk's own words back at her. "I might. It depends on what I have to gain."

Not his...for he had his own pastimes to occupy his minutes. No, not his...but that didn't mean her plans couldn't provide some benefit to him.
