Hi Sunny,

It is very difficult to research Japanese willow because factories -- and their records were destroyed in World War II. It may be that the color of the backstamp depends on the factory that made it. Maybe someone with a large collection of Japanese willow has compared colors of backstamps, but I haven't heard of any collectors reporting such information. Anyone out there?
