Hi Dennis,
I can't picture a vase with a wicker handle. If it is rather wide, it could be a cookie jar with no lid. You can always use it as a flower pot if it is wide, or for flowers if it is tall and slender. If you don't want it, then you might as well put it in a yard sale.
