Posted by Connie Brown & Steventon Ltd. produced earthenware at Royal Pottery in Burslem from c. 1900-23 when the company began trading as John Steventon & Son. At the British Industries Fair in 1917, the "Pottery Gazette" reported that the company produced "a class of ware which are now strongly in demand among the working and lower middle-classes, where many families just now have more money than ever before ... firm showed it is in a position to cater to this demand..." The firm made tea ware in blue willow until 1922 when dinnerware was added. It was not flow blue -- just dark blue.
