Posted by Connie The Ridgways double diamond mark with bow and quiver, reading Made in Great Britain was used from c. 1912+ Geoffrey Godden gives a date of 1927+ in his British marks book; however many pieces I have documented with that printed mark have impressed dates before 1927. The impressed dates look like: 11/12, 6/22 or 10/24. It may be that the wares were impressed with dates before 1927 and left on the shelf in the warehouse until later when they were needed for decorating with the willow pattern. If that is true, then it would mean that the pieces marked with the double diamond bow/quiver mark were produced after 1927.

Hi Rita,
Lois Lehner has a huge book of Marks on Pottery, Porcelain and Clay. Taylor Smith Taylor of Chester, W. Va. had a vertical mark of T S T Co. -- with a very fancy S in an hourglass sort of shaped oblong. She dates it to before 1920. I don't know anything about Japanese marks except that they are 20th century, and I have seen the Gold Castle mark on Japanese willow.
