Posted by Connie Rogers on November 26, 2006, 2:47 pm I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. We certainly did here. I got eleven 19th century willow plates down from my "Great Wall of China" -- the large 10+ inch size, washed them, and used them for dinner. Also used an old large platter, and square covered vegetables. I even used a sauce tureen this year for gravy that has a lid and under tray. Now I am looking for the plate that has the willow border and cows in the center. Someone brought one to my house at our OWS meeting in April 2005. I have a nice photo, but I need a photo of the mark also. If anyone has that plate, I would appreciate knowing about the mark. I think it might be Doulton. There was another plate at that Show and Tell with a border that has a side view of the head of a knight with a metal hat with a visor. It is very colorful in red and yellow. I also need the mark on that plate. Thanks for your help!
