Posted by Frollo on September 23, 2005, 8:06 pm Also beautiful was the wolf who was almost horrified at the beauty that was slowly growing around him. Frollo's pelt made his stand out like black on white. His once finest black hairs were graying now and were being replaced with new and bright black silky ones for winter. His first winter. The wolf was also losing the fine luster that was once in his felt. It used to be dark black with a bright sheen of green and purple, but now he was turning into a dull smokey color. Later in winter he would return to normal until spring when he had to shed agian, but Frollo felt unusualy ugly in this strange period of his first molting of the fur. It didn't matter for long though, soon he would be handsom agian like a butterfly. 'Is that what I am? Some creature who turns into a butterfly and then morphs back into a caterpillar?' Frollo thought as he walked deeper into the woods, listening to the wild rush of the river that was so much farther away. 'Not for long though. One day, I shall be beautiful forever. I will no longer be a butterfly and have my beauty die away. I will be a starling and live forever!' His descripion of himself being a bird was quite odd, but Frollo never cared what was and what wasn't. The wolf only cared about himself and his wanting to have beautiful colors forever. Frollo growled at himself for beinf jealous of the starlings that chattered above him ...

He almost gasped at when he saw the beauty of fall. Just about all of the trees were had orange and red spreaded in large blotches as if they were painted there in thick smears. Wind blew and several orange leaves broke from the branch's holds and glided gently in the wind. Leaves that were still attached to the branches moved as if they were dancing like experts and had a rythem as smooth as the finest silk. Frollo stared at the trees, his mouth open slightly as he was in awe. Frollo's blue eyes were unblinking as the wolf was mused in thought about the trees and their graceful beauty.
