His suggestion on meeting with Ravenshadow again caused him to wince. He knew she loathed him, yet if he had to swallow his pride and submit his sorry self to his mother-in-law in order to find a way for his family to live unhunted, he would do so. Dashel's tail wagged all the more furiously with the show of affection from her mother. She giggled and turned in a circle, her excitement plain to see. Though all of the energy she was exerting caused her to lapse into a coughing fit. Once she had finished she wimpered slightly and smiled sheepishly up at her mother.

Was not something Takedo appreciated. He was used to a life without danger, which was most likely the largest reason of his failure to be phased by imminent and imposing situations. He was, afterall, the most respected alpha's son, as well as at one time the most feared wolfess' mate.
