"Could never partake in something I didn't help bring down myself!" Sage chirped cheerfully with a pleasantly wagging plume. "Thrill to watch though, lovely. Like a dance." She grinned. "Anyway I'm not much into that tough meat and blood taste. Im a dog, I fish. Eat berries, the occasional rabbit or squirrel. That sorta thing."
She glanced at his companions. One looked nearly hostile, and raised a apprenhensive prickle to shiver down her spine. The other, a female, seemed mostly indifferent, and more intent and cleansing herself than anything else. Curious companions to this kind eyed stranger.
"Names Sage by the way, but I'll just be passing I suppose? Wouldn't want to spoil your meal there, and I was observing that herd of elk that ran past. Im a storyteller see?"
