Jesusa took an embarrassed step back and flattened her ears. Being alone practically for the first time since birth, she was almost unsure of how to talk to another canine without the help of her angel and devil.
"I--I'm fine," she stuttered. "It's just that ... I'm not sure what to do--alone."
Already Cotton had made herself comfortable in the Fire pack, and Lamb was trying to receive an initiation from The Brotherhood. Jesusa had yet to travel outside of this spot.
"I'm Jesua," the wolf said quietly, keeping her eyes on the ground.
