Mostly for the fact the large tigress was giving her some space. The was a small wash of relief over the young fox. Bandit's Rage liked to think that it was because of the close proximity of the feline rather than something in her actual smell. She managed a polite smile in gratitude for the space being given. She didn't say anything yet, she simply looked back across the water and nodded.
"Yes," she agreed, "Quite lucky to have the protection from most encroachers." Bandit's Rage paused, glancing back to Taniku with her mismatched eyes. That unnerving feel was still at the back of her mind, but she didn't speak on it. And since the tiger had given her space, she didn't let it show. She merely smiled and continued on, "Oh, I've heard stories about those who can swim the river. But I've never /seen/ anyone do it. Stories aren't always true you know."
She seemed to be relaxing more now, almost beckoning the challenge to be made by the tiger. It would be interesting if she went and tried to make the swim now. And Bandit's Rage even thought it might be funny if she made it and the large cat didn't. Strangely, the thought didn't bother her. Maybe it had to do with the time she spent away. Or maybe it was in the simple want to be anything other than what had ever been expected of her.
