Mostly because she was slowly finding her place in her birthplace. She was more like the typical fox. Bandit's Rage rather enjoyed her traditional solitude, though meeting others didn't trouble her much. In a land like Wolf Mountain, it was to be expected. She remembered it all too well. The fox trotted along quietly, having had her fill of several mice in her path. She was heading around now, re-acquianting herself with different areas of her homeland. So far, everything was in her favor. No one knew who she was, and no one expected anything of her other than being herself.
It made the fox smile pleasantly as her white paws carried her along the river bank. Her fluffly tail waved now and again. The black fox's mood was certainly up. There was little that could change it too. Bandit's Rage yawned once, pausing in her steps as she did. How the devil could she be tired this early in the day? She was never tired this early. She quickly decided that it was her lack of a good night's sleep the night before. It happened sometimes, and there was nothing she could do about lost sleep.
She certainly wouldn't lose more sleep over worrying about her early tiredness. Bandit's Rage chuckled mildly to herself as she turned to face the river. The fox lowered her head to the water and drank the cool water. Her mismatched eyes were open and focused on the water further out, where it got swift and those not able to swim well were lost to the raging river. She paused from her drink, smiling slightly, recalling the story of what had happend to the pack that was once on this side of the river. Further out, she recalled, was the tropical island pack, Water. She imagined venturing out on the River once, but she wasn't quite ready for such a task.
Maybe later, the black vixen thought as she resumed her drink. The water was satisfying, and things were going well. In her mind, there seemed to be little to ruin this pristine moment, even if it was just a simple drink.
