So it was when he found Wind Watcher, and later on Sky Dancer. Both griffins had brought him joy, and it hurt the wolf to see them go. And now, he had happened to come across another egg. Dust Biter didn't know what to make of it. In his recent depression, the sight actually made his heart leap. The dusty grey male always enjoyed company, and actually preferred it constantly. The egg in question gave him hope that he would have another friend with him again.
It was with that in mind that Dust Biter gingerly scooped up the egg and kept it with him. He didn't know what was within it, so he would have to wait and see what hatched out of it.
