Geipa groaned as she stretched herself out in the sunlight. Her gray fur gleamed oddly, the brown speckles sparkling with a more
reddish color, on her back and the tips of her ears. Rolling onto her side, she sighed, her stomach clenching within her, and she
continued to ignore it more and more, replacing food with sleep. She closed her lids over her golden eyes, to no avail. Sleep would
not come anymore, not until she had eaten.
She rolled back onto her stomach, using gravity forcing her down to trick her stomach into thinking it was full. That didn't make the
slightest difference. It groaned in protest, as she grumbled back, "If you're hungry, feed yourself." She peered at the water of the
river, sighing. She wasn't good at much of anything lately. Maybe, perhaps, she could try fishing..if only her weak body would let her stand. She glanced at the ribs poking from her side and whimpered, before rolling onto her side, closing her eyes, letting the sun warm her fur.
