Taniku walked in her postpartum depression. Things were happening and weren't happening so quickly. She'd thought she wanted Lizard...but at the first sign that he was happier without her she quickly shut him and others out of her heart. She gave in to temptation and was with two strong cubs. Moved to become beta along side of a friend she'd fastly become close to. Yet while she struggled in her mind to make the light shine brigher Taniku wasn't sure of much of anything any longer.
That's what the mountain did. You come here willing to escape from what was already bad in your life and you find a new path that was so much unlike the first. Nothing was really chosen for her that life was simply meant to be bad...then it ended good. It just didn't feel like she deserved the life she'd gained here on WM. She did nothing to help protect the mountain it is as much as her home as anyone else. There were pacts made between the packs and still Taniku did not know how they would unfold...she may have put them in more danger by suggesting than leaving them split. It was a lot through her mind. At least the rift between Ice and Earth was stepping towards reconcile...her new friend FR was more accepting of the Feline.
Yet all that had happened was keeping her from watching where she'd been walking. She didn't sense the cliff before it dragged her down. Into the wild river the large feline splashed. A sound that was added to with the falling of debris as she tried to find a hold to the side of the cliff. The current was much to strong for even the best swimmer. Water of different colors up and over her head in her lungs the tiger tried her hardest to remain above the surface. Going in and out of the water as it filled her lungs. Taniku's brain shut down and she was no longer of this earth. The felines invisible spirit watched her body wash up on shore about 45 minutes and several thousand feet from where she'd entered.
Being a spirit was new to Taniku never having been dead...she floated over her body. The wings of the body sprawled out and around the face of the big cat.
