Bright, pure white paws thudded on the ground. Haiku smiled happily. Life doesn't get better! His sister, Melodi, now had a new form of "sight," as taught to her by some strange wolf she had met. That was nice of him, but unneccesary, as Haiku could take care of his blind sister himself. He had been with Melodi since they had left Rosie for adulthood. He had only seen his mother once since they had left the first time, and his father once as well.
But what of his other siblings?
He didn't hear what became of Carlotta and Phantom of the Opera, but Lodi apparently mated with Seraphim, his friend Mystery's son. Seraphim hates Mystery, so it seems, so Haiku couldn't tell what Lodi was now like. Peering around, he decided it was time he found out.
He lifted his head and let out a thundering howl for Lodi, and perhaps even her family. Anything is possible, as he could know.
"She is my sister.
She mated with Seraphim.
Is she now evil?" he spoke softly, almost singing to the sky after his howl.
