Posted by Ji-hi on December 21, 2005, 10:50 pm Little white dot in the sky, through the rough and fluffy cotton rows. First star of the night! Ji-hi glanced up at it, her eyes glowing with some sort of love. The stars! the stars! And with them comes the moon! She sighed, an almost romantic breath escaping her teeth in a puff of steam; it was cold. Stars were lovely. They were one thing that had never, and hopefully, would never, bring harm to the dappled wolf as she sat there watching them slowly blink and peek through the lethargicly shifting clouds. She wished to be a cloud too, to fly in the air, to see the very first visible star, and the moon come into veiw. Smiling lightly to herself, she bent her head and stuck it into the river, which had, surprisingly, not yet frozen save a thin film of ice over it, through which the wolf easily broke. She gasped, removing her head and shaking the wet fur. Nice way of waking up from a daydream. Or, dawndream. Whichever, whenever, whatever. Either way, Ji-hi was a dreamer.

Falling from the sky, the sun gave the world a whole new appearance. The sky was stained with first oranges, slowly becoming clarets and violets, then indigo, the sun's waning veiw alighting billowing clouds that streaked the air above in fluffy cotton rows. A dark and dappled wolf sat beside the quick and formidable waters of the river, head turned up to watch the sky with a loving and longing expression. Her eyes were a vibrant claret colour, the colour of fine wine. Her coat was a grey-black colour, as it darkened towards winter to absorb sunlight, although it was still speckled with white at ears, muzzle and tail and paws. She seemed the rather casual wolf with nothing special or diffrenciating; and that she was. But the mind was different. She had an odd radiation about her that seemed to do good in influencing insanity and chaos. Why? Well, who knows? That's just the way things are sometimes.
