4-runner Starting Prob

2000 4 runner, lately turn the key , does'nt start.....only dash lights ( no clicking noise)
sometimes after adjust steering wheel....after a couple of tries, starts up.
Happened occasionaly... now most of the time.
Had Battery checked - ok.
May not be steering wheel adjust, just seems that way.
Any thoughts??
