So, I know you shouldn't remove a bird from the wild, but...
Some neighborhood boys found the baby bird (it's moulting) flopping around on the ground, thought they were saving it or maybe that's just what they told me. Bottom line...I have found no nest to return it to or place it near. For the past ten minutes it has been sleeping in a shoe box with my unmatched socks to keep it warm. I want it to survive, but I work full time and can't feed it three times an hour. Any suggestions?
