I recently found a baby bird and I am trying to save him. At first my boyfriend thought he was a robin. Robins eat worms. So we caught some nightcrawlers and have been feeding him cut up pieces of worm with forceps. Try that, forceps work well. It kind of simulates the mother feeding him. I have had my bird for 6 days now and he has grown a lot. We now know he is a sparrow. Be careful of how much water you feed him, if any (you could drown him) Since Robins naturally eat worms, that is where they get most of their water supply. Sometimes you can buy worms at gas stations, they sell them to use for fishing. Hope this helps, if you have any more questions e-mail me, my boyfriends a biology major and know a ton about birds.
