Injured Woodpecker

Hi
I have rescued a woodpecker from a cat It doesnt seem to be badly injured but is not able to fly yet we have him in a cardboard box (left open) inside an old hampster cage with water in a dish and wet bread he is covered and in my lean-to he is safe and Im hoping he will rest and be ready to fly off tomorrow but wonder if anybody is online who can advise me of anything else I can do as I cant take him anywhere until morning...
