I was there the whole week but could barely walk so I did not personally do very much shooting. However, Nappy said to shoot everything would have required at least 200 rounds.
Also, by his count, there were six Widowmakers there.
Prizes for individual matches are almost always in the form of Booshway Bucks, little medallions worth various sums that are redeemable at the various events as cash when buying from vendors. Both the fowler given away by the Greenhats and the rifle, bag, and horn given away by the Widowmakers were drawn for instead of being won by best score. Each hit was worth a ticket so someone with more hits had more tickets, but anyone who shot had a chance to win the big prizes.
I enjoyed it even though I was pretty much immobile the entire week. Had I been able to shoot I would have enjoyed it a lot more.
There was a problem early in the week getting the hooters serviced and information about about a few things could have been better, but all in all it seemed okay to me.
Next year is back where it was last year. Some people have complained it is too close to I-79. They are right, it is next to the interstate, but since I'm practically deaf it didn't bother me that much last year. Maybe I'm just too easy to please.
