Re: Buying targets
Ya both have legit points on the matter. I'm certainly not opposed to gettin better to beat the man straight up. I've had the fortune of doing so with one bear target few shoots back. And while he's well within his rights and the rules to spend as much as he'd like, the spirit of the competition is being exploited. What's to prevent us (or someone else) from doing the same? Perhaps we raise funds to "sponsor" our own shooter? Then it becomes a money match. Both shooters of similar skills spending as much money to beat the other. Sounds like NASCAR don't it? LOL.., It's a "pushing the envelope" issue with me. And if one or two more fellers show up with similar funding it'll be a two or three man, week long, match. Not sure there's a solution. NMLRA has to love such a dilemma I'm gonna work on tightening my groups, Whip has set a mighty high smoothbore bar for us Widowmakers, and I hope to knock' him out on last day of shoot after he's spent all that $$. 10-50's and 50xxx with smoothbore is my goal!!
