Re: Widowmaker Challenge
You have no probs, there Simon. Had a ground hog, PAPER target, set up at 25 yards. Tore the X out of it, with three shots. Other two, was just an inch away from the X. this was the Tulle, 56 cal. Have to use a ,020 patch, on top of .010 patch with a .535 ball, til I get a mold. (yeh, just as well shoot the 2 patches. Now all this sounds real fine, ECEPT, the Smoothie was benched, and I was aiming at the bottom of the ground hog. That means after bending the barrel, the damn thing now shoots 15 inches HIGH. Yep, done forgot how to bend a barrel, to make it work. Alsooooooo, dry balled a shot. Had to go back to house to get something to eat, and pull the ball out, and get a punch to drive out the pins holding the barrel in, to once more, bend the barrel again, which makes the 3rd time. Ate dinner, headed back out to range. Bent barrel again. Put Smoothie back together and loaded it up. WTF. Oh yeh, I have a ball and patch in the barrel, that I dry fired, and I just loaded another load on top of it. Nooo this story isn't over, as I lost a screw/lock in the grass, and cant find it. Took one from my rifle, so now I have two guns down for the count. Taking a break. #### flintlocks and Buckskining. Lots more whinning to do, so im getting ready for that. Yep! Im done, in more ways then one.
