Hi, Jimmy. You can write to the PCO and ask for an extension, but you need to do this before your orig date to apply is up. They will give you a 6 month extension then you will have to take your map test, if you fail that (not sure how many times you can fail it?) you get another 6 months I think b4 you have re-sit the map test again. If not you can re-apply again from scratch but that means fees and another medical to pay for.... Hope this helps
