Hi, I am thinking about applying to become a licensed taxi driver. The problem is however 16 years ago I was a bit of a thief and up to no good, and although it might not go down to well here I use to nick cabs (sorry) or from cabs eventually I got caught and spent 4 months in Brixton. I came out put myself through college set up my own business, bought my own house and have been sqeaky clean ever since. Now I work in banks and offices in the city plus peoples own homes. Now the questions are should I declare this in my application? And would it be a refusal? I'm not exactly proud of what I did at the time, but it did put food on the plate? Thanks for any possitive information and apollogies (without being flipant) if it was your cab I nicked...
