Do it as you think best, most people I speak to are doing the runs first then will learn the points after. You pick up the points and learn the streets in more detail at this point. Different schools will teach you in different ways, what is certain though is that you need to learn each and every point in the 1/4 mile radius. Good luck mate.
: Thanks very much cally girl, for

: When i first started I tried to do
: it
: in the car, what a waste of time,
: you cant turn round easily if you
: over shoot a turing, and as for
: pointing and turn arounds forget it!
: Congestion charge can be expensive
: to.You sit in traffic for ages, and
: loose sight of what you have seen,
: due to a run taking 4 times as long
: to do, you also get away with far
: more on a bike! You really are
: better off by bike, its really is
: the only way!
:
: I too was worried about the whole
: bike thing, Just make sure you go to
: a good training centre, get properly
: kited out, i.e: armour, boots, back
: protector etc, dont skimp on
: clothing! Make sure you can be
: properly seen, even in day light!
: Dont go out in the rain or when its
: really dark! Buy a decent bike, not
: a 50cc with no power, but not
: something to fast, a 100 cc would be
: fine!
:
: This is my opinion, other people may
: feel differently, only you can make
: your own mind up! If you really want
: it, then go for it! If not then I am
: sure you will be happy in some other
: carer! Above all Take Care and good
: Luck!
