Posted by danny With earnings I have heard a lot of different figures, my uncle is a cabbie he said in 2006 he earned £49,000 PROFIT and he must be the laziest taxi driver there is!! other people have told me 70k 35k, but no one has ever mentioned below 30k. like everything you get out what you put in. my uncle says he works 4 days a week, he goes out in the morning and in the evening only, and sometimes does a saturday if his takings have been low. hope this helps. Hi sam, I have just put in my apllication today, and am going to give the knowledge a shot but am going to do it full time at least 4 times a week. I have done research into this, and I am hoping to complete in two years. Everyone I know who is a cabby started out part time like yourself but then ended up quitting there jobs and going full time, and just getting a part time job.
