Posted by cally girl on 25/7/2007, 2:04 am, in reply to "knowledge" you have7 points at the start of my runs that I am using, ( KPM) Let say for instance i use Marriot county hall hotel on Westminster BR Rd. Your out side it. On your bike with you pen and paper and map. You make the observation that you can lv in on the L or R. To get to the end of you run which is the royal London hosp, you would need to find how you would get back on to your run, I.e: I made the observation that you would Lv on L West monster BR Rd, C R.A.B, Lv by York rd, C Tenison way, Lv by Stanford st, Then your back on your run! You need to write up each point, how to leave it and how to get back on your run and any restrictions that could be in place. Ok secondly, you get to the end of your run. Lets for example pick a point from the end, a nice easy one? Or so it seems! The Blind beggar P.H (comes out all the time) Easy if you want to leave on the left, but what about the right? Ok A turn around is needed. Lv on L White chapel Rd, L Cambridge hth rd, L Darling rd, F Collingwood st , R headlem st, R Cambridge hth Rd, to get your R in to white chapel rd! Ok thirdly Linkage, Linking your next run to the ending of the run! So your at the royal london hospital, you need to get to the beginning of your next run, Arbour Sq. Lv on L white chapel rd, L new north rd, L stepney wy, R turner st, L Ashfield St, L cavell st, R stepney wy, R Jamaica St, B/L Aylward st, R west arbour st, Set down on L. YOu need to go home and write up, your start points your finish points and your links and put the above your run in a folder for easy reference. This is the correct way to do your runs, Dont be tempted to smash the runs out and forget the points, your just making more work for your self later! Red the book the PCO give you, It will tell you, YOU MUST observe your quater mile radiuses. Good luck, Let me know if you need any more help, I am no expert, but normally no someone that is!

HI, you need to be doing the points with each run! If you do just the run you are wasting your time! You will never get asked a blue book run at an appearance, the blue book is simply designed to get your direction in London. You MUST do your quarter mile radius, START and FINISH, You must know how to leave each point, If you can leave it on the left or right and how to link it on the the run! You MUST also learn the turnaround (if one is needed) You must also Link each run together. For example, Run 6, list 6 Jubilee gardens to the Royal London hosp.
