You can indeed. I myself lost my licence during my wreckless youth because of the bottle, but was still accepted onto the K because I was honest about it on my initial application. Do the same and you will get a letter from the Headmaster advising you that "although this is a serious matter etc...." you will be invited to learn the Knowledge as long as you dont do it again. Just make sure you let them know about ANY brush with the law and all will be fine.
