Thanks, Chaleen, for the info. The new vet
just did all the same stuff, took a scraping and checked it under the microscope, then gave him a different antibiotic, still to take the Atopica and added 5 mg prednisone. And charged 163.00. I just can not keep doing this on a fixed income but. So i am really not any further ahead with clearing this up... until it snows i guess. The rash is rounc, lumpy and scaly and has on occassion seeped when infected. Well, at least she did not cut the quick on his nails, which everyone else does. He gets his weekly bath tomorrow and will see what the groomer says. I think it is just the grass and weeds, etc. outside and pollen.
