we lost our beloved golden retriever, Jake,(who was almost 13) to what sounds like the same thing. started limping on wednesday & we had to put him down that friday. our vet came to our house & we were all w/him. i'm so sorry about your Cooper, reading your message brings it all back about our Jake.
