My male Westie is 10 months old and when he gets excited, like during play he continously chews my hands and he even gets sexually aroused when chewing my hands.(He's not aggressive, just dominanting I suppose??)
It gets rather painful at times.
I've tried the boss grip, holding his collar till he stops and light taps on the nose.
It doesn't seem to work, but aggrevates him more and he just wants to chew my hands even harder.
He's been through puppy and obedience school....but has learnt very very little.(I'm lucky if he sits).
Any suggestions or would he simply grow out of it? If so how old?
