Hi:
I have two Westies, Hank & Hannah, Hank has had this allergy thingy last year and right now. He's so chewed up. After 300 bucks, today I have him on Atopica it's a pill. We will be trying him on this and see what happens. The other alternative beside steroids which I detest will be the allergy testing with the shots. My sister had a Westie, she was a rescue so we didn't really know how old she was but older than my two. She had tons of problems and finally died from pancreas problems, we think.
I'm on a mission to find something alternative to the meds while he's on the meds. I'll be glad to keep you posted through our journey. Hannah doesn't have this problem.
Warmly,
Wanda
