as of this sunday the mahon could be out of the beamish cup..unfortunately a fixture clash with newcestown gaa who have senior foot game against nemo means that mahon will prob not be able 2 field a team as 10 of the squad are involved wit newcestown..numerous attempts have been made to change the game to an 11 o clock fixture and although the west cork board have been helpfull our apponents skibb refuse to change the game,giving the excuse that they have some players traveling from cork and wont be able due to the 1hr20min trip to play at 11.when in fact they fully understand our situation and are tryin to gain a easy access n2 the semi final by doing the unsportsman like thing..personally i think if all clubs were to be this un cooperative the league and cups would never get played..all were asking is for a bit of fair play and im sure if it was the other way round crossmahon and most other teams would see common sense prevail.....!
