I am researching Mary Ann Cotton, I have established that Brookfield Cottage has a connection to her. Am I correct in assuming that this Cottage is still standing in what used to be Johnson Terrace, now Darlington Road ? Also any information concerning Mary Ann which is of particular interest and not regarded as gossip but fact. Also a death mask was cast of Mary Ann, any ideas as to who, where it may be ?
