Any information regarding the DOWD family of West Auckland and St. Helen Auckland, would be most grateful. My roots stem from West Auckland (after the Irish Connection). My grandfather - Harry Dowd (1900-1944)was the youngest son of Patrick Dowd (married Ellen Lamb of W.A. 1883). Have found some of my long lost cousins, and would love to find more.
