I have just come across what I think is your tree on Ancestry and it is the same family I remembered researching. You have far more information that I got so I don't think I can add anything.
I did try to trace William who went to USA and I think it was Coalville Summit, Utah he settled in but can't be sure. There were some possible living relatives and I was thinking of trying to make contact when I found it was not my family.

: I am connected to the same Richardson
: family as John. However I did quite
: a bit of research on another family
: when I first started doing FH
: thinking they were mine. I suspect
: this may have been your family.
:
: The parents were Thomas Richardson
: and Appelina Wilson married in St
: Helens 21 June 1834. I can't
: remember all their children but
: there were 3 or 4 brothers. One went
: to Rotherham (name Robert?), one
: William who went to USA, Thomas who
: I could not trace and I think
: another went to Ryope although this
: last one may have been the brother
: of Thomas snr. I don't have the
: notes anymore so can't be sure. I do
: remember that Thomas the father came
: from a Cockfield family and Appelina
: was from Etherley or Toft Hill.
:
: If this is your family I will try to
: remember more if I can. I will be
: able to access the census returns
: for the family as far back as 1841
: if you are interested.
:
: How far back have you got? What are
: you stuck on?
