My answer
I obtained my copy at the annual Family History Fare at Gateshead Stadium from the Cleveland and South Durham Family History Society stand. I also bought a copy of St. Andrews Auckland MIs.
The society has a website at http://www.clevelandfhs.org.uk
This website tells me that they have a Spring Fare on Saturday 25th April 2009 at the Scotch Corner Hotel.
The website also has a large blue EMAIL hotspot. Why not try that?
I understand that this society has various branches but, if I understand correctly, many are not supported as well as they used to be in other days. An exception, also if I understand correctly, is the Sedgefield Branch. This branch is probably the nearest to West Auckland and South West Durham as a whole.
Why not contact them and try them out?
