As I remember, she only protested if we got too close to her feet. She was so tired from the dog show, though, so maybe that's why she didn't mind when we were around her ears. Ilsa is now working as a therapy dog for a nursing home in Dallas. Laura's Chloe is a registered therapy dog and they go to this nursing home the first Sat of every month. I took Ilsa last month for the first time and she was soooo good! Laura and I took the girls to North Park Mall first. We went to a doggie boutique and tried hats on at Build A Bear. Laura and I had lunch and off we went to the nursing home. Our first floor was the Alzheimer's floor and this lady saw us coming. She ran down the hall towards us with her hands outstretched. I thought Ilsa was gonna freak. She cupped Ilsa's face with her hands and put her face right into Ilsa's. Ilsa just licked her nose and looked at her. It was like she was saying, 'Hello.' I think Ilsa was following Chloe's lead and she couldn't have had a better teacher. Chloe is a natural! Oh, and Ilsa had a ball shopping with the rich people of Dallas!
