hi, I recently bought a baby red eared slider. Its about a half dollar in size right now, my cousin who has two of them have grown a bit since he got them back in June/july. I purchased mine around middle of august and seems the same in size. What concerns me is that since my cousins have grown already quite a bit that maybe mine will grow and grow and grow to a size where I won't know what to do with him. The lady at Petco had told me that in about a year they will double in size, but does anyone know how big these turtles will get? or does anyone know the average size of red eared sliders as adults? I know that the turtles won't stay that small and will eventually grow but I just want to know how big and how fast they will grow, Any help would be greatly appreciated, TIA.
