Winter is for baked salads😌and this one has been a go to recently—wait until you try the dressing 🤌 I do recommend buying a bag of already shaved Brussel sprouts, rather than shaving them yourself🙃🔪
Recipe
- Start by thinly slicing 2 cups of brussels sprouts (or buy them shaved) add this to a pan on medium heat with 2 tablespoons of oil. Pan fry until golden brown and it starts to get crispy—about 6 to 7 minutes.
- Add this to a bowl, along with 1/2 cup of diced apple, 1 tbsp of finely diced shallot, 1/4 cup of chopped pecans, 1/2 cup of chopped bacon, and 1/2 cup of shredded parm.
- Whisk together the creamy maple dressing—1 tbsp of maple syrup, 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar, juice of 1/2 a lemon, 1 clove of minced garlic, 1/4 tsp of salt, and 1 tsp of dijon mustard.
- Mix together the salad with the dressing and enjoy!!
