Sauce:
2/3 cup chicken broth or water
1/3 cup good quality soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
2 tablespoons rice vinegar or white vinegar
2 tablespoons corn starch
What I did was after my onions, celery are starting to brown, I removed them, set aside. Added my shrimp ( or whatever protein you choice) cooked well but not over cooked. Removed the shrimp m set aside.
Pour the sauce into the pan, stirring until it thickens. Add back the onions, celery, vegetables of choice( I blanched them for 3 mins) and then the shrimp. Stir to coat and vegetables are heated through.
Serve over pasta or rice.
