Spicy peppers and bacon add a fun extra flavor to chicken Alfredo shells. This an easy dinner that is ready in 30 minutes.
Ingredients
24 cooked large pasta shells
2 cups cooked, diced chicken
2 teaspoons minced garlic
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 - 4 ounce cans diced chilies
1 cup crumbled cooked bacon
2 cups Alfredo sauce (15 oz. jar)
2 cups shredded Colby Jack cheese
Instructions
Place the chicken, garlic, and cream cheese in a skillet over medium heat. Stir constantly until melted and creamy. Stir in the diced chilies and bacon and 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce.
Spread 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish. Fill the cooked shells with the chicken mixture and place in the 9x13 dish. Pour the rest of the Alfredo over the tops of the shells.
Cover everything with the cheese. Top the dish with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and broil on high for 2 minutes if desired. Serve hot. Serves 8.
