What You Need
3 cups penne pasta, uncooked
1 lb. (450 g) fresh asparagus spears, ends trimmed, cut into 2-inch lengths
1 lb. (450 g) Italian sausage
1 onion, finely chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup grape tomatoes, quartered
1/4 cup Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing
1/2 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Shaved Cheese
1/2 cup loosely packed thinly sliced fresh basil
Make It
Cook pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt and adding asparagus to the boiling water for the last 2 min.
Meanwhile, remove casings from sausage, if necessary. Crumble sausage into large skillet. Add onions; cook 7 to 8 min. or until sausage is done, stirring frequently. Add garlic; cook and stir 1 min. Stir in tomatoes; cook 1 min., stirring constantly.
Drain pasta mixture. Add to sausage mixture in skillet along with remaining ingredients; mix lightly.
