Pine Needle Skiing

I'm doing a project on skiing in New Jersey.
I'm looking for information about a place that was called the Rustic R Ranch that was in Swartswood Lake. From newspaper articles I found it may have also been known as the Man About Town Lodge.
I understand some older members of the Watchung Ski Club may have skied there on the pine needles.
I did find an article that Erling Omland wrote for the Mountain Times in Rutland, VT.
Would like to know exactly where the place was and if anyone can tell me what it was like skiing on pine needles. No one in Swartswood Lake seems to know anything about it.
If there are old newspaper articles or old pictures I would love to see them also.
Any information would be really great.
