We need another central defender as Henchoz is truggling with injury and look what happens when he's not fit - Traore!!! As for midfield, Murphy & Stevie Wonder Gerrard are great but Speed would do well there, like Gary Mac - I'd sell Hamann, too defensive. Up front, Cisse would have been nice but it won't happen. Looks like we're stuck with Saint Michael and Baros/Heskey. Baros is good but very young - and so is Michael, and if he gets an injury, we're in serious trouble. The less said about Heskey the better - surely we can offload him to Spurs?? Any comments?

Can someone please come in with a bid for GH? I know it's only Rumourmill stuff but why are we always associated with average, unproven youngsters??? We have plenty of youth at Anfield. What we need is proven quality. Steve Finnan was a good buy, he'll have a great season - himself and Stephen Carr are the best right backs in Premiership. Now let's get Damien Duff! The Duffer is pure class, full of tricks, puts in crosses, and chips in with quite a few goals, Blackburn wouldn't have gotten into Europe only for him - quote Souey. And that's some compliment!
