He promised three or four signings which will not be potential but established names. Im sure we will be seeing some interesting face/s at Liverpool this year. Ideally Liverpool need to strengthen the squad on the right and centre of defence as well as on the right and left of midfield. Hopefully Houllier will target these areas, however our exclusion of Champions League football will be a big deterent for players like Duff and Kewell.

: When Liverpool first started buying 'potential', it made
: sense, as many a times, our league position
: reflected a weakness in squad strength. Now that we
: have progressed (and I DO realise that this is a bit
: arguable) a bit, Houllier should strengthen the team
: based on current needs. Current needs are maturity
: (see what McAllister did for us - thanks Macca!),
: experience and flair. Houllier, please wake up and
: do what's best for Liverpool.

: Recently liverpool's been linked with high profile
: stars
: like duff,cisse,kewell,kluvert.I have to remind u,
: liverpool highest transfer fee paid is only 11 m,
: for our "irreplacable" MR heskey. And, do u
: notice houllier doesn't like to but high profile
: stars.Dun put too much hope on this year transfer,
: players who r coming in would only be those who have
: "potential" as Mr houllier mentioned.
: We've wasted so much money on players like
: diouf,diao,cheyrou,biscan,heskey who r really
: disappointing, if we use these money to buy 1 or 2
: stars, it might be more helpful
