This team isn't that team, this club isnt that club, the history means nothing to the present day. It's about now. And the Liverpool of the past has no hold on this team. We'll see how GH does next year. If he doesn't do it, then he'll leave. It'll help if he gets support in his quest. But many of the present day fans (bandwagoners included) don't do support it seems. They just look to the past, and demand a re-run. Reality check is needed by many. It's about now, not about what has been decades ago. --Previous Message--

A typical idealistic view, that has no concequence on the present day.
: The most successful club of Britain - 18 titles, 4 times
: European Champions. The Team many used to fear of.
: The Team that won the Champions Cup by beating AS
: Roma at their own OLimpico.
: Everbody knows this, everyone heard of Shankly, and than
: all of a sudden, the manager of this greatest club
: comes to say that he wants to be back in the top
: three.
: Liverpool should always aim to be first, becasue that
: is our culture. For Liverpool second means the first
: losing place. First is first second is none.
